Ingredients

  • 2/3 c. (small can) undiluted Carnation evaporated milk
  • 1 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 1/2 c. (about 16 medium) diced marshmallows
  • 1 1/2 c. Baker's chocolate or caramel chips
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Method

  • Mix Carnation, sugar and salt in saucepan over low heat.
  • Heat to boiling, then cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Add nuts, marshmallows, chocolate chips and vanilla.
  • Stir 1 to 2 minutes, or until marshmallows melt.
  • Pour into buttered 9-inch square pan.
  • Cool and cut into squares.
