Ingredients
- 2/3 c. (small can) undiluted Carnation evaporated milk
- 1 2/3 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 1 1/2 c. (about 16 medium) diced marshmallows
- 1 1/2 c. Baker's chocolate or caramel chips
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Mix Carnation, sugar and salt in saucepan over low heat.
- Heat to boiling, then cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat.
- Add nuts, marshmallows, chocolate chips and vanilla.
- Stir 1 to 2 minutes, or until marshmallows melt.
- Pour into buttered 9-inch square pan.
- Cool and cut into squares.
