Ingredients
- 1 to 1 1/2 bunches broccoli
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 8 slices bacon
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- pinch of salt
- 1 c. mayonnaise
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. chopped cashews
Method
- Wash and break broccoli.
- Fry bacon until crisp, then crumble in a saucepan.
- Heat raisins, sugar and vinegar to boiling.
- Remove from heat; cool.
- When cool, stir in mayonnaise, onion, salt and bacon.
- Pour over broccoli; stir in cashews.
- Make 4 hours before using.
