Ingredients
- 1 bunch broccoli (about 2 stalks) cleaned, peeled and cut in small pcs
- 1/2 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 c. minced celery
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
- 1 lg. can canned lowfat milk
- Garlic salt
- 1 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese
Method
- Saute/fry onions and celery together.
- Cook broccoli till tender, then mash.
- Combine all ingredients except Cheddar cheese.
- Adjust seasoning.
- Before serving, add in 1 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese.
- Use low heat.
- May require additional lowfat milk.
