Ingredients

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 c. instant or 1/2 c. uncooked rice
  • 1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese, chopped, or 8 oz. jar Cheez Whiz or 1 can Cheddar cheese soup
  • 1/2 c. evaporated milk
  • 2 (10 oz.) pkg. chopped broccoli, thawed and drained
  • bread crumbs

Method

  • Saute onion in melted margarine.
  • Mix together with remainder of ingredients except bread crumbs.
  • Pour into greased casserole. Bake 1 hour at 350°, stirring once halfway through baking and adding cracker crumbs for the last 30 minutes.
