Ingredients

  • 1 x 9 Inch Pie Shell -- unbaked
  • 2 Tbsp. Dry Onion -- chopped
  • 4 x Brown & Serve Sausage Links Sliced 1/2" thick
  • 1/8 tsp Pepper
  • 10 ounce Frzn, Minced Broccoli -- Thawed & Liquid removed
  • 1/2 c. Fresh Mushrooms -- Sliced
  • 2 x Large eggs -- Beaten
  • 1 c. Swiss Cheese -- Shredded
  • 10 3/4 ounce Can Cream Of Broccoli Soup, Condensed

Method

  • Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
  • Line the unbaked pie shell with a double thickness of foil.
  • Bake for 8 min.
  • Remove foil.
  • Bake till golden brown
  • (4-6 min more).
  • Set aside.
  • Reduce oven temperature to 375 degrees.
  • Cook the sausage and mushrooms in a large skillet till the sausage is brown
  • (about 5 min).
  • Stir the Large eggs, condensed soup, onion and pepper together in a medium bowl.
  • Stir in the sausage mix, broccoli, and 3/4 of the cheese.
  • Pour the mix into the pie shell.
  • Bake till a knife inserted near the center comes out clean (40-45 min).
  • Sprinkle the remaining cheese over.
  • Let stand for 10 min.
  • Serve.
