Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 12 cup butter, softened
  • 12 cup peanut butter
  • 13 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 1 12 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup quick oats
  • 12 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 4 cups Cheerios toasted oat cereal

Method

  • Preheat oven to 375.
  • In a large bowl, beat together the first 6 ingredients until smooth and creamy.
  • Add flour, oats and baking soda, beating until combined.
  • Stir in raisins and cereal (it will be stiff).
  • Roll about 1/3 cup at a time and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Pat the balls firmly, then press down to flatten slightly.
  • Bake 13-15 minutes or until lightly browned on the bottom.
  • Let cool for 5 minutes before removing from cookie sheet.
