Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 c. butter, softened
  • 1 c. oatmeal
  • 1 (12 ounce.) pkg. (2 c.) chocolate morsels
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. light brown sugar
  • 3 teaspoon vanilla or possibly more
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 2 c. nuts
  • 1/4 c. water

Method

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt and oatmeal.
  • In large mixing bowl, combine butter, sugar and vanilla.
  • Beat till creamy.
  • Beat in Large eggs.
  • Gradually add in flour mix.
  • Stir in chocolate and nuts.
  • Drop by large Tbsp.
  • onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake for 9 to 11 min.
  • Makes 4 dozen.
