Ingredients
- 1 lb. sausage
- 6 eggs
- 2 c. milk
- 6 slices bread
- 1 1/2 c. shredded Colby cheese
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 can mushrooms
- chopped green pepper or onion may be used to taste
Method
- Fry
- sausage;
- drain and cool. Grease 9 x 13-inch pan. Mix eggs thoroughly; add milk. Break bread into small pieces and
- add to
- mixture.
- Stir
- in salt, dry mustard, cheese and mushrooms. Add
- green pepper and
- onion if you elect to use them
- in
- this recipe.
- Pour in pan.
- Cover and let set overnight in refrigerator.
- Cook
- for 45 minutes or until set at 350°.
- Let set for 5 minutes before cutting into squares.
