Ingredients

  • 1 lb. sausage
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 c. milk
  • 6 slices bread
  • 1 1/2 c. shredded Colby cheese
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 can mushrooms
  • chopped green pepper or onion may be used to taste

Method

  • Fry
  • sausage;
  • drain and cool. Grease 9 x 13-inch pan. Mix eggs thoroughly; add milk. Break bread into small pieces and
  • add to
  • mixture.
  • Stir
  • in salt, dry mustard, cheese and mushrooms. Add
  • green pepper and
  • onion if you elect to use them
  • in
  • this recipe.
  • Pour in pan.
  • Cover and let set overnight in refrigerator.
  • Cook
  • for 45 minutes or until set at 350°.
  • Let set for 5 minutes before cutting into squares.
