Ingredients
- 1 lb. sausage
- 6 slices bread, crust removed
- 1 1/2 c. sharp cheese, shredded
- 5 large eggs
- 2 c. half and half
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- oleo or butter
Method
- Cook crumbled sausage and drain.
- Spread bread with butter. Place in greased casserole, butter side up.
- Sprinkle sausage over, then top with cheese.
- Combine remaining ingredients, beating well.
- Pour over bread and sausage.
- Chill 8 hours or overnight.
- Bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes.
