Ingredients
- 1 pkg. (4-piece) tofu
- 1/3 c. flour
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- oil (for deep frying)
- 3/4 c. bread crumbs
- salt
Method
- Drain water and cut each piece of tofu lengthwise, then crosswise.
- Place between absorbent paper towels and allow to dry for several minutes.
- Gently dust tofu, one piece at a time, with flour, then dip in egg and roll in bread crumbs.
- Allow to dry for 10 to 15 minutes; top off an excess crumbs.
