Ingredients
- 6 c. fine or coarse bread crumbs
- 1/2 tsp. celery seed
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. sage
- 1/4 tsp. thyme
- 2/3 c. melted margarine
- 1/2 c. onion
Method
- Prepare coarse or fine bread crumbs.
- Empty crumbs into a large bowl with celery seed, salt, pepper, sage and thyme.
- In pot melt margarine with onion and bring to a boil for 1 minute. Stir constantly.
- Pour margarine and onion onto bread mixture. Boil water. Then mix water into bread mixture until mixture consistency looks moist.
- Pour or place mixture into 9-inch square pan and bake at 375° for 20 minutes.
