- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons bourbon
- 1 cup whipping cream
Method
- Brown butter in a cast - iron skillet over medium heat; stir in brown sugar and salt, using a wooden spoon. Cook mixture over low heat, stirring frequently, until sugar dissolves. Add bourbon and whipping cream, stirring well. Continue cooking until sauce thickens. Serve sauce warm over pudding.
