Ingredients

  • 1 head iceberg lettuce, shredded
  • 1 c. green onion bottoms, chopped
  • 1 c. celery, finely chopped
  • 1 c. bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained and chopped
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. green peas, unthawed but separated
  • 2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 (2 oz.) pkg. Hidden Valley salad dressing (dry)
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese, shredded

Method

  • In a flat 13 x 9-inch glass dish, place the ingredients in the order listed, pressing down each layer.
  • The salad dressing should be sprinkled dry over the mayonnaise layer, and lastly, cheese. Cover tightly and refrigerate overnight.
