- 4 oz. spaghetti
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 beaten egg
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
- nonstick cooking spray
- 1 c. low-fat cottage cheese
- 1/2 lb. ground turkey or beef
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp. fennel seed (optional)
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
Method
- In saucepan, cook spaghetti until tender.
- Drain.
- Return to saucepan.
- Stir in margarine until melted.
- Stir in egg and Parmesan cheese.
- Spray a 9-inch pie plate with nonstick cooking spray.
- Press spaghetti mixture into the bottom and up the sides of pie plate, forming a crust.
- Spread cottage cheese over crust.
