Ingredients

  • 2 c. whole wheat flour
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. butter
  • water

Method

  • Mix ingredients together with water, just enough to make a dough, not too sticky.
  • Knead the dough real well.
  • Cut the dough into small balls as big as golf balls.
  • Use the rolling pin to roll the balls.
  • Roll it until they are 1/2-inch thick circles. Heat generous amount of oil in a Chinese wok or a deep pan.
  • Fry them one at a time.
  • Turn over when it puffs up and fry other side.
