Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 c. sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 c. cookie crumbs
  • 3 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1/4 c. lemon juice
  • 1 c. blackberries plus 3 doz. berries

Method

  • Mix milk and lemon juice.
  • Stir until mixture thickens, fold in the 1 cup berries.
  • Make up the pie crust.
  • Roll enough lemon snaps, vanilla wafers or chocolate wafers to make one cup of crumbs.
  • Mix well with the melted butter.
  • Cover the bottom of a 9 inch pie pan.
  • Press firmly into place and stand halves of wafers around the sides of pan.
  • Pour in the filling.
  • Top with the 3 dozen berries and sweetened whipped cream.
  • Chill and serve.
