Ingredients

  • 1 qt. berries
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 touch cinnamon
  • 1 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. milk

Method

  • Boil and cook 1 quart of berries.
  • While berries are cooking, place nearly a stick of margarine in an 11 x 13-inch dish in a 375° to 400° oven.
  • Add enough water to berries to see through. Add a touch of cinnamon.
  • Mix flour, sugar and milk.
  • Spread this mixture around on the bottom of the dish with margarine.
  • Dump cooked berries on top.
  • Bake until brown.
