Ingredients
- 4 qt. cucumbers
- 1/3 c. salt
- 5 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. mixed pickling spices (tied in cloth)
- 3 c. vinegar
Method
- Soak cucumbers and salt in ice water for 3 hours.
- Drain well. Bring sugar, pickling spices and vinegar to a boil.
- Add cucumbers to vinegar mixture and bring to a boil.
- Place in jars and seal.
