Ingredients
- 1 (18 1/2 oz.) devil's food cake mix with pudding
- 1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
- 1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
Method
- Prepare cake mix according to package directions.
- Spoon batter into a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
- Bake as directed.
- Cool in pan 10 minutes.
- Remove from pan and let cool completely on a wire rack.
- Slice cake horizontally to make 3 layers.
- Place bottom layer on cake plate.
- Spread with about 1 cup whipped topping.
- Top with 1/3 of cherry pie filling.
- Repeat on 2nd and 3rd layers.
- Chill.
