Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 qt. whipping cream
- 1 qt. milk
- 1/4 cup chicken base Safeway 1 lb For $1.99 thru 02/09
- 3 cups GREY POUPON Bistro Sauce
- 2 cups KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1 tsp. black pepper
Method
- Melt butter in large saute pan on medium heat.
- Add garlic; cook and stir 1 min.
- or until garlic is golden brown.
- Stir in flour with wire whisk until well blended; cook 1 min., stirring constantly.
- Reduce heat to low.
- Gradually add cream and milk, stirring constantly.
- Stir in chicken base.
- Bring to boil; cook until slightly thickened, stirring frequently.
- Add Bistro Sauce, cheese and pepper; cook and stir until cheese is melted.
