Ingredients
- 3 pounds bison ribeye The Honest
- 2 cups carrots
- 1 diced onion
- 4 tablespoons oil any type
- 1 teaspoon curry powder
- 1 box curry mix Japanese, Medium or Hot
- 6 cups water or Beef Stock
- salt
Method
- Heat pan and add oil. Cook onions until tender.
- Season rib eye with salt, pepper, and curry powder.
- Add seasoned meat to cooked onions and cook until the outside is brown (do not over cook, the inside of the meat will continue to cook in the slow cooker).
- Add carrots, potatoes, and cooked meat with onions into slow cooker.
- Add water or stock into the slow cooker and cook on low for 7 hours.
- Add 1 box of curry mix into the slow cooker and mix well to dissolve the mix. Cook for an additional 30 minutes on high. Serve with nann or choice of rice.
- *if curry seems to be a bit too thick add more water or stock to desired consistency
