Ingredients

  • 3 pounds bison ribeye The Honest
  • 2 cups carrots
  • 1 diced onion
  • 4 tablespoons oil any type
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 box curry mix Japanese, Medium or Hot
  • 6 cups water or Beef Stock
  • salt

Method

  • Heat pan and add oil. Cook onions until tender.
  • Season rib eye with salt, pepper, and curry powder.
  • Add seasoned meat to cooked onions and cook until the outside is brown (do not over cook, the inside of the meat will continue to cook in the slow cooker).
  • Add carrots, potatoes, and cooked meat with onions into slow cooker.
  • Add water or stock into the slow cooker and cook on low for 7 hours.
  • Add 1 box of curry mix into the slow cooker and mix well to dissolve the mix. Cook for an additional 30 minutes on high. Serve with nann or choice of rice.
  • *if curry seems to be a bit too thick add more water or stock to desired consistency
