Ingredients
- 2 c. self-rising flour
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 6 Tbsp. shortening
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1 c. buttermilk
Method
- Place dry ingredients in mixing bowl. Add shortening.
- Put seal or top on bowl and shake. Add buttermilk. Replace top and shake in clockwise motion.
- Put on pastry sheets and roll to desired thickness.
- Cut out and bake.
- Makes 18 biscuits.
