Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. vegetable oil
- 4 1/2 c. flour
- 4 tsp. baking powder
Method
- Beat eggs (reserve 4 tablespoons of later use).
- Add sugar, then oil and beat well.
- Add flour and baking powder, a little at a time, until it forms a smooth dough.
- Roll dough into strips about 1/2 inch diameter, then cut in 4-inch lengths.
- Bring ends together to form a ring.
- Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Add 1 teaspoon sugar to reserved egg and brush on biscochos.
- Bake at 350° for 22 to 25 minutes or until brown.
