- 22 medium-sized green tomatoes
- 6 green peppers
- 1 pt. small onions, cut up
- 6 sweet red peppers
- 1 1/2 qt. vinegar
- 3 1/2 c. white sugar
- 1/4 c. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. ground allspice
- 1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 4 tsp. celery seed
- 1 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
Method
- Quarter tomatoes and green and red peppers.
- Put through food chopper, using medium blade; drain.
- Place vegetables in large kettle.
- Add vinegar; boil 30 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Drain and discard juice.
