Ingredients

  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 2 pkg. dry yeast
  • 1 c. cool water
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 6 c. sifted flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Method

  • Pour boiling water over sugar and butter in large mixing bowl.
  • When cold, add in yeast dissolved in cool water.
  • Stir in beaten Large eggs.
  • Add in flour and salt.
  • Beat well.
  • Store in refrigerator for several hrs Remove dough as needed.
  • Shape as desired.
  • Place in greased baking pan.
  • Let rise till double in bulk.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 10 min.
  • Then raise temperature to 425 degrees till golden.
