Ingredients
- 2 lb. filleted fish
- 1 c. warm beer
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. pepper or to taste
- salt to taste
Method
- Mix all ingredients, except fish, together.
- Let stand 30 minutes at room temperature.
- Whisk the mixture until frothy and dip fish in batter.
- Heat oil in the pan until hot.
- Fry fish about 1 minute on each side.
