- 3/4 c. flour
- 1 c. whole wheat flour
- 1 t. baking soda
- 1/4 t. baking powder
- 3/4 t. salt
- 1/2 t. cloves
- 1/2 t. nutmeg
- 1/2 t. cinnamon
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. canola oil
- 1 c. canned pumpkin
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
- 1/2 c. chopped dates
Method
- Blend all but dry ingredients. Add remaining dry ingredients, except nuts and dates and then stir in after blending dry.
- Oil and flour pans. Bake in slow 325 degree oven until top springs back when lightly pressed with fingertip or toothpick comes out clean.
