Ingredients
- 1 (4 lb.) round bone pot roast
- 1 (14 ounce.) bottle Heinz ketchup
- 1 can beer, room temperature
- 1/2 c. light brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 teaspoon onion salt
Method
- Don't brown roast; place in Dutch oven with oven-proof handle.
- Mix remaining ingredients and pour over roast.
- Bake covered at 325 degrees for about 3 hrs or possibly till tender.
- Serves 6 to 8.
