Ingredients
- 1 -1 12 lb lean ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 12 cup celery, chopped
- 8 ounces mushrooms
- 1 cup mixed vegetables
- 12 ounces beef gravy (I use Pepperidge Farm gravy)
- 3 -4 tablespoons water
- 1 dash Mrs. Dash table blend seasoning
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 6 -8 biscuits, cut into quarters
Method
- Brown ground beef with onion, celery, and mushrooms until beef is completely browned (no pink) and the vegetables are tender.
- Add the mixed vegetables, gravy, water, and Ms Dash.
- Simmer 5 to 10 minutes.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Pour mixture into a 2-quart baking dish sprayed with nonstick cooking spray or olive oil spray.
- Lay biscuits on the top of the mixture.
- Bake at 350 for 25 minutes, or until biscuits are golden brown and beef mixture is bubbly.
