Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 16 oz. can pork and beans
- 1/2 c. Kraft barbecue sauce
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- Velveeta pasteurized process cheese spread or slices
- 8 oz. can Pillsbury refrigerated buttermilk or country style biscuits
Method
- Heat oven to 375°.
- Brown meat and drain.
- Add pork and beans, barbecue sauce, onion and salt.
- Simmer 5 minutes.
- Stir in 1/4 lb. Velveeta cubes.
- Pour into a baking dish.
- Cut biscuits in half, forming half circles.
- Place cut side down around edge of casserole.
- Bake at 375° for 20 minutes.
- Top with additional Velveeta slices.
- Return to oven until cheese melts.
