Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 16 oz. can pork and beans
  • 1/2 c. Kraft barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • Velveeta pasteurized process cheese spread or slices
  • 8 oz. can Pillsbury refrigerated buttermilk or country style biscuits

Method

  • Heat oven to 375°.
  • Brown meat and drain.
  • Add pork and beans, barbecue sauce, onion and salt.
  • Simmer 5 minutes.
  • Stir in 1/4 lb. Velveeta cubes.
  • Pour into a baking dish.
  • Cut biscuits in half, forming half circles.
  • Place cut side down around edge of casserole.
  • Bake at 375° for 20 minutes.
  • Top with additional Velveeta slices.
  • Return to oven until cheese melts.
