Ingredients

  • 2 lb. stew beef, cut into bite size pieces (do not brown beef)
  • 1 pkg. dry onion soup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 pt. sour cream
  • noodles or rice

Method

  • Cook in pot with a tight lid or put foil over a casserole dish and then put cover on top of foil.
  • Bake at 350° for 2 to 3 hours. Do not peek while it bakes.
  • Before serving, add the sour cream and serve over noodles or rice. Serves 4.
