Ingredients
- 4 lb. ground chuck
- 2 (no. 2) cans red chili beans
- 2 (no. 2) cans peeled tomatoes
- 2 c. onions, chopped
- 2 c. bell pepper, chopped
- 1 lg. jar Mexene chili powder
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 4 pods garlic
- 3 jalapeno peppers
Method
- Cook meat until gray.
- Blend (in blender) garlic, jalapeno peppers, tomatoes, flour, chili powder.
- Mix all this with meat. Saute onions and bell pepper with 2 tablespoons cooking oil. Add this and beans with above. Cook slowly 1 & 1/2 hours. Add water for desired thickness. Stir often.
- Makes approximately 15 pints.
