Ingredients
- 2 lb. chuck roast or stir-fry meat
- 1 c. mushrooms
- 1 c. celery
- 1 c. carrots
- 1 c. onion
- any other vegetables you desire
- garlic (for seasoning)
- 2 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 2 Tbsp. water
Method
- Cut meat in 1/4-inch slices.
- Put meat, onion and garlic in a large frying pan and brown.
- Add vegetables and water.
- Simmer for 30 minutes.
- More water may be needed.
- Mix 2 tablespoons flour and 2 tablespoons water to make gravy.
- Add to meat and vegetables.
- Serve over rice or noodles.
- This is a great way to use leftover vegetables.
