Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. round steak, cut in 1-inch strips
- 1 envelope onion soup mix
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
- 2 beef bouillon cubes
- 1 Tbsp. tomato paste (optional)
- water (to cover)
- 1 c. sour cream
Method
- Brown meat in oil.
- Add remaining ingredients, except sour cream, and simmer all about 1 1/2 hours, until tender.
- Before serving, add sour cream thickened with flour.
- Heat and serve over rice.
- Freezes well.
