Ingredients
- 1 lb. beef stew
- 1 onion
- 1 stalk celery, chopped
- 3 carrots, diced
- oil
- 1/2 can Hunt's tomato sauce
- 2 or 3 potatoes, diced
- 1 Tbsp. parsley (optional)
- pinch of garlic powder
Method
- Saute onion in oil, put in diced beef pieces and garlic. Brown until onion and beef are tender.
- Add tomato sauce and about 1 1/2 cups of water, also the parsley, salt and pepper.
- Cook about 1/2 hour over a low heat.
- Add chopped celery and carrots and diced potatoes.
- Simmer for about another hour or until vegetables are tender.
