Ingredients
- 2 1/2 lb. shrimp (15 to 20 count)
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 c. flour
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 pt. milk or more
Method
- Shell and clean shrimp.
- Split down the back to butterfly, leaving tails on.
- Make batter by combining remaining ingredients. Dip shrimp in batter, a few at a time.
- Cook in deep fryer of hot oil at 375° for 3 minutes.
- Serves 6 to 8.
