Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. milk
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
Method
- Melt butter in small pan.
- Blend in flour and stir constantly about 1 minute.
- Remove from heat.
- Gradually add milk, stirring until smooth.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Yield: 1 cup.
