- 2 lb. deer chops
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 c. ketchup
- 1 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. mustard
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
- salt and pepper
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
Method
- Brown chops in skillet.
- Remove and replace in baking dish. Brown onions and celery in butter.
- Add remaining ingredients and cook slowly until flavors are well blended, about 15 minutes. Pour sauce over chops and bake at 350° for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
