Ingredients

  • 1 cup diced ham
  • 2 tbsp. margarine
  • butter
  • 1 clover garlic, minced
  • 1 can (1-1/4 lb.) baked beans
  • 1 can (1-1/4 lb.) red kidney beans
  • 1 can (14 oz.) lima beans, drained
  • 1 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp. mustard with horseradish
  • 1/2 cup catsup
  • 3 tbsp. vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 md. onion, sliced

Method

  • Saute ham in butter or margarine.
  • Combine garlic, beans, ham, mustard, sugar, catsup, vinegar and seasonings.
  • Pour into a greased casserole and top with onion slices.
  • Cover and bake at 350 F. for 50 minutes.
  • Makes 6 servings.
