Ingredients
- liquid smoke
- garlic powder
- freshly ground black pepper
- celery seed
- barbecue sauce
Method
- Remove excess fat from beef brisket.
- Rub liquid smoke, celery seed, garlic powder and black pepper on all sides of brisket.
- Wrap in heavy-duty foil.
- Bake at 200° for 6 hours.
- Remove from oven and allow to cool.
- Slice into thin slices.
- Return slices to foil (in a neat row).
- Cover with barbecue sauce and bake for 2 hours at 200° or until heated.
