Ingredients

  • 1/2 sticks Sweet Cream Butter
  • 2 cans (15 Oz. Size) Butter Beans, Drained
  • 1/2 cups Low Sodium Vegetable Stock
  • 1/2 teaspoons Black Pepper
  • 1-1/2 Tablespoon Chili Powder
  • 1 whole Lime, Zest And Juice

Method

  • In a saucepan over low heat, melt butter. Once melted add butter beans, vegetable stock, black pepper, chili powder, lime zest and lime juice. Stir to combine ingredients. Cover with lid and cook on medium-low heat for 10 minutes. Serve with your choice of meat options. We love these beans with grilled hamburgers! Enjoy!
  • We love beans as a side dish! This is a nice change up from baked beans. Delicious, easy and flavorful. I rarely have any leftovers.
