Ingredients
- 5 to 6 lb. ribs
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 Tbsp. shortening
- 1 c. catsup
- 3/4 c. water
- 1/3 c. vinegar
- 1/3 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp. celery seed
Method
- Arrange ribs in shallow roasting pan.
- Sprinkle with salt. Cover pan with aluminum foil and crimp it securely. Bake in a 350° oven for 70 minutes or until meat is almost tender, 1 1/2 hours for country-style ribs.
