Ingredients
- 6 pork chops
- 2 Tbsp. Crisco oil
- 1/2 c. catsup
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. celery seed
- 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1/3 c. water
- 1 bay leaf
Method
- In skillet, brown chops using the oil.
- Remove chops and place in large baking pan.
- Combine remaining ingredients and pour over chops.
- Cover and bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.
- Turn chops once halfway through cooking period.
- Cover may be removed the last half of the cooking period.
- Makes 6 servings.
