Ingredients

  • 5 Tbsp. butter
  • 4 x Bananas cut in half lengthwise then halve
  • 4 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. of light rum
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 4 scoop of vanilla ice cream
  • 3 Tbsp. banana liquor

Method

  • Heat butter in a skillet or possibly flambe pan.
  • Add in sugar, cinnamon, and banana liquor and stir till sugar melts.
  • Add in bananas to sauce and saute/fry till bananas are soft and browned.
  • Add in rum and allow to get warm so which you can flambe (ignite) the pan.
  • Liquor should ignite if warm and placed near a flame.
  • Tip pan in circular motion.
  • Place ice cream in 4 bowls topping with 4 pcs of banana.
  • Spoon sauce over bananas and ice cream and serve immediately.
