Ingredients
- 5 Tbsp. butter
- 4 x Bananas cut in half lengthwise then halve
- 4 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. of light rum
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 4 scoop of vanilla ice cream
- 3 Tbsp. banana liquor
Method
- Heat butter in a skillet or possibly flambe pan.
- Add in sugar, cinnamon, and banana liquor and stir till sugar melts.
- Add in bananas to sauce and saute/fry till bananas are soft and browned.
- Add in rum and allow to get warm so which you can flambe (ignite) the pan.
- Liquor should ignite if warm and placed near a flame.
- Tip pan in circular motion.
- Place ice cream in 4 bowls topping with 4 pcs of banana.
- Spoon sauce over bananas and ice cream and serve immediately.
