Ingredients
- 4 c. milk
- 1 c. sugar
- 4 egg yolks
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 dash salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- vanilla wafers
- 4 to 6 bananas
Method
- In 4-quart saucepan, add 3 cups milk and margarine.
- Mix sugar and flour and salt.
- Set aside.
- In remaining cup of milk, add egg yolks.
- Mix and add to milk and margarine.
- After margarine has melted, add flour, sugar and salt.
- Bring to boil on medium heat. When at a full rolling boil, add vanilla and turn off.
- Arrange wafers on bottom of 13 x 9-inch glass dish with bananas.
- Add pudding after cooled.
- Arrange more wafers on top.
