Ingredients
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 1 c. mashed bananas
- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/2 c. finely chopped pecans
Method
- Mix bananas and buttermilk; set aside.
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Add eggs, one at a time.
- Beat well.
- Add dry ingredients and milk and banana mixture alternately to the creamed mixture. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
- Bake at 325° for 1 hour.
