Ingredients

  • 1/3 c. Spicy mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. Spicy mustard
  • 1/2 c. Sweet pickle relish, with juice
  • 3/4 c. Fresh bread crumbs
  • 1 x Egg
  • 1 sm Onion, minced
  • 1 tsp Garlic salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 3/4 lb Grnd chuck
  • 3/4 lb Grnd pork
  • 1 1/2 tsp Brown sugar

Method

  • 1.
  • Preheat oven to 350 .
  • In a medium bowl, combine 1/3 c. mustard, relish, bread crumbs, egg, onion, garlic salt and pepper.
  • Mix to blend well.
  • Add in grnd chuck and grnd pork and mix till combined.
  • 2.
  • Pack mix into an 8"x4"x2 1/2" loaf pan.
  • Place on a baking sheet and bake till a meat thermometer inserted in center of loaf reads 155 to 160 , 35 to 40 min.
  • 3.
  • In a small bowl, combine remaining 1 Tbsp.
  • mustard with brown sugar.
  • Brush mix over top of meatloaf and bake till topping is glazed, about 5 min.
  • Let stand 5 min before slicing.
