Ingredients
- 2 1/2 lb. lean beef stew meat
- 4 large potatoes
- 6 carrots
- 1 c. celery
- 1 onion
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. canned tomatoes
- 1 c. water
- 3 Tbsp. tapioca
- 1 tsp. sugar
- pepper to taste
Method
- Cut vegetables in serving pieces.
- Combine all ingredients in a roasting pan.
- Cover and bake at 300° for 3 to 3 1/2 hours or until done.
- Can be baked at 250° for 3 1/2 to 5 hours.
