Ingredients
- 1 lb. round steak
- flour
- Crisco
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1 level tsp. salt
- water
Method
- Pound steak, cut in average pieces.
- Flour on both sides.
- Fry in Crisco.
- Brown on both sides.
- Place meat in baking dish.
- Make gravy using about 1/2 cup flour, salt and enough water to thicken. Pour over meat in baking dish.
- Cover with foil, leaving a small place open.
- Bake for 1 hour in 400° oven.
