Ingredients
- 8 large Idaho potatoes
- 1/2 c. melted butter
- 1/2 c. oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp. dry thyme
- 1/2 tsp. dry basil
Method
- Wash potatoes.
- Do not peel; slice 1/4-thick.
- Grease a 9 x 13-inch glass pan.
- Place potatoes in layers.
- Mix butter and oil; brush over slices.
- Pour remaining ingredients in pan.
- Sprinkle spices.
- Bake at 400° for 25 to 30 minutes.
- No need to cover. Too easy to taste so good.
